News Update

Hopefully a good news update. Work to revive the Reed Bed Hide has been ongoing and is near completion. This Hide in the past has been great for Reed Buntings and Sedge Warblers. It also from time to time had Kingfishers visit, often the moved on young. We are looking around a week for opening. 2 hide regulars will make a test run this week so we will keep you posted.

Little Owl - 3 have now returned to the area but as yet it is still too early to say if the Hide is viable, fingers crossed it is soon, again, we will keep you posted

2nd JULY 2021

Our resident Kingfishers are busy feeding another brood so both female and male are very, very busy. Guessing around a brood of 4 by fish taken away. Over the next week or two, activity levels should be very high with great chances for two birds on the perch.
